Meet the Team
Eric Rosenberg joined King County Explorer Search and Rescue in 1999 where he has served on the Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, and is currently an Operations Leader and Director of the senior leadership training programs. He has responded to over 500 search and rescue missions including hundreds of times in a Plans or Operations role.
Eric is a founder and co-director of the Washington State SAR Planning Unit. He has presented and state and international SAR conferences and in 2019 he was recognized with the Volunteer SAR Leadership award from the Washington State Search and Rescue Volunteers Advisory Committee.
Guy Mansfield, Ph.D. has been active in Search and Rescue since 2008. In 2018 Guy received Snohomish County’s highest recognition for a SAR volunteer, as well as the Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue President’s Award. He has also been recognized with a High Responder Award from Everett Mountain Rescue.
Guy is a director of the Washington State SAR Planning Unit and has served as Operations Section Chief and Planning Section Chief at some of the largest searches in Washington State. He received special recognition from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office for his management of the Oso Double Homicide Search. Guy has presented on SAR process improvement and applied search theory at national and international SAR conferences.
Dan Merrifield has been active in Search and Rescue since 2011. Dan has an extensive background and training in search theory and mission planning. Dan has also served as Planning or Operations Section Chief on numerous SAR missions.
Dan is currently a member of the WA State SAR Planning Unit and is a member of the following teams in Snohomish County: SCVSAR Operational Support Unit (OSU), SCVSAR Alderwood Unit, Everett Mountain Rescue Unit, and SCVSAR Project Care Track. Dan is also a member of Cascadia Search Dogs.
June Mansfield has been active in Search and Rescue since 2009. She currently serves as the Treasurer of WASSPU. June has an extensive background in administration and fundraising and has helped form several nonprofit organizations in the past several years.
June has been the recipient of the Snohomish County Volunteer Search & Rescue President’s Award which is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to the building of SCVSAR. June is also a member of Cascadia Search Dogs, Washington State Animal Response Team and Snohomish County Volunteer Search and Rescue.
Bob Inn has been involved with Search and Rescue since 2012. Initially, he was employed as a SAR Deputy with King County Sheriff’s Office serving as Incident Commander of numerous SAR operations. Upon retiring from the sheriff’s office in 2014 he continued his involvement with SAR as a volunteer with King County ESAR. Bob is currently a Team Leader with King County ESAR, and a canine handler with Chelan County Volunteer Search and Rescue where he also serves as CCVSAR’s president.
Bob is part of the Washington State SAR Planning Unit Leadership Team where he serves as Outreach Director, responsible for recruiting and interaction with SAR organizations and coordinators throughout the state.
